The story of the worlds first ERP system born in the cloud
Our story starts in the 70s in a small village on the western coast of Norway. Walking in his father's footsteps, Jakob Hatteland built a business of buying and selling electronics and soon became a major Norwegian distributor of computer components.
The key to success was information control. RamBase's founders started building a business system to deliver the right product at the right time but also with the right price. A significant competitive advantage at that time. "There were several smart features in the system. With the real price of components, we also had control of the margins, something that our competitors at the time did not." - Jakob Hatteland.
In the 1992 Jakob Hatteland Electronics turned their internal business system into a separate product compatible with any similar ERP system worldwide, and named it RamBase.

ACQUISITION OF QMS Hatteland purchases INOSA to be able to go to market with a full business management solution.

CLOUD ERP WITH FULLY INTEGRATED QMS RamBase Cloud ERP and RamBase Quality Management System is delivered on the same platform, providing customers with a 360 software solution.
