What happens when passion meets opportunity? For Elisabeth, it meant stepping out of the marketing world and into the beating heart of product development. After five years at RamBase, she’s now using her voice, and experience, to shape the tools she once promoted.
From marketing to product development
From the outside in, and now from the inside out, Elisabeth’s journey at RamBase is proof that following your passion can open unexpected doors. Her new role isn’t just a title change; it’s a chance to make real impact where it matters.
After more than five years working across sales and marketing, and with both of the RamBase brands, Elisabeth found herself increasingly drawn to one area: quality management. What started as a professional interest quickly turned into a personal passion.
“I’ve been with RamBase for over five years now. I started in the sales and marketing department and have worked with both of our brands, but I really had a passion about our quality management software,” says Elisabeth.
Now, she’s stepping into a new role as Business Analyst, where she’ll help shape the very product she used to promote. And the best part? She knows exactly what’s at stake, because she’s seen it from the user’s side.
“I’ve been there. I know the pain points of not having good tools, and I can clearly see the value it brings to our customers, and that’s really fun,” says Elisabeth.
Before joining RamBase, Elisabeth worked in the oil and gas industry as a Quality Manager for an oil services company. That hands-on experience gives her a unique perspective – one that combines real-world operational insight with a deep understanding of user needs. Her background in customer-facing roles and marketing means she’s now helping bridge the gap between user expectations and smart, effective functionality.

Small town. Big ambition
Elisabeth has always kept close ties to her hometown, but her work takes her far beyond Norway’s borders.
“I’m from Haugesund in Norway, a small city. And RamBase – we’re competing on the big scale, and it’s pretty cool to be a part of that.”
And that’s exactly what makes RamBase special: local roots with global reach, and people like Elisabeth who are passionate about building technology that truly matters.
Looking ahead
Elisabeth’s story is a great reminder that when you combine experience, curiosity, and a drive to improve, real change can happen. Whether it’s helping shape better tools, supporting her team, or solving everyday challenges for customers, she’s now contributing directly to the evolution of the product she believes in.
And we can’t wait to see what she brings to the next chapter of RamBase.
Take a throwback
After more than five years in the marketing department, Elisabeth has been part of countless exciting projects. We recently took a little trip down memory lane and dug into the archives, and found this gem from her visit to our customer, Ydra.
Ydra delivers advanced water treatment and purification systems for the maritime industry, and during her visit, Elisabeth got a closer look at how their technology helps make shipping more sustainable. A great example of the kind of stories we love to tell!
Curious about what it’s like to work at a fast-growing tech company? Elisabeth is far from alone in her journey. Meet Elisabeth Kverneland and Gunilla Wejerfelt, two other talented colleagues who are driving growth and customer success in their own unique ways.
