We are delighted to announce that we are now a proud member of the UK’s leading regional manufacturing and engineering group, Made in Yorkshire.
Made in Yorkshire, part of the Made in Group, exists to champion and promote UK Manufacturing. This community, along with Made in the Midlands and Made in London, originated in 2009 as a simple pledge signed by the Managing Directors of manufacturing firms to do three things:
- To open a communication channel within local firms to source and supply locally where possible.
- To upskill and reskill workforces.
- To promote good news from manufacturing businesses to counteract the adversity in the media that ultimately undermines confidence.
RamBase were invited to join the group to share best practice and thought leadership content on how Cloud ERP enables growth and business process efficiencies for SMB manufacturers.
With our own microsite on the Made in Yorkshire website, RamBase aims to reach specific industries from hi-tech and electronics, automotive, and precision engineering to the oil and gas supply chain industry with our offer of Cloud ERP. Furthermore, the site provides a platform to connect directly with fellow members ready to evaluate the need for a new business management system. We look forward to actively contributing to regional in-person events on themes that promote digital transformation.
Backing Britain 3.0
Earlier this year, the Made in Group launched its first hybrid exhibition, Backing Britain 3.0. The exhibition combines live face-to-face networking events with a year-long virtual exhibition. Backing Britain 3.0 aims to steer as many manufacturers as possible toward the innovation-active segment of the industry, with a focus on digital transformation as a competitive edge and mitigating against a range of threats. RamBase has its own virtual exhibition stand to reach and connect with its UK-wide network.
Connecting with members
We had the pleasure of speaking at the Backing Britain Virtual Breakfast Mornings, a virtual meeting place that allows members to connect with key figures in the industry through panel discussions on the latest topics in manufacturing. Our UK Sales Manager, Tim Cowley, told his experience with customers' expectations with ERP and how our industry-fit ERP solution is helping manufacturing businesses thrive with better reporting, real-time information and inventory control, to name a few.
