From fragmented to predictable: How Mitac gained full control with RamBase Cloud ERP

As Mitac, a Swedish electronics contract manufacturer, continued to grow, their existing tools – based on Excel and internally developed systems – could no longer provide the full operational overview they needed. Information was scattered, decision-making was slow, and bottlenecks emerged across departments. The solution? RamBase Cloud ERP, implemented in close collaboration with Ariser.

A Growing Production Company

Founded in 1991, Mitac is a Swedish contract manufacturer in the electronics industry. They deliver circuit boards and complete product assemblies, ranging from prototypes to large-scale manufacturing. All products are built to order and tailored to each customer’s specific needs. With 40 employees and a client base primarily in Sweden, flexibility, quality, and traceability are critical to their operations.

To support future growth, Mitac needed a modern and scalable system – one that could connect data across departments and provide real-time control, from the shop floor to the back office.

Angelina Persson, who serves as Chief Operating Officer at Mitac, says that they realized they needed a centralized system that could provide a unified view of operations, improve traceability, and support long-term growth.

“It was very time-consuming. We constantly had to search for information in different places instead of having it all in one system, where you can follow everything with just a few clicks,” says Angelina Persson.

Choosing a Partner That Understood the Mission

Mitac considered several ERP systems but chose RamBase based on the solution’s industry fit — and the people behind it.

“RamBase and Ariser stood out,” says Persson. “They truly listened, understood our challenges, and showed us a clear path forward. That gave us confidence."

Another decisive factor was RamBase’s modern, cloud-based platform, which offered automatic updates, ensuring scalability and predictable costs. The fact that the system was developed for high-tech electronics companies further reinforced the decision.

“It was reassuring to choose a system built by people who understand the complexity of our industry,” says Persson.

Implementation with momentum

The implementation process was smooth and well-coordinated. Although RamBase is a complex system, Ariser provided a structured onboarding experience that made it easier for Mitac’s team to adapt.

“Training was intense but effective, with clear planning and consistent availability from Ariser’s consultants,” says Persson.

From manual to streamlined: Early results

Today, Mitac has full traceability across its production line using RamBase Cloud ERP. Everyone works with the same real-time data, which has boosted efficiency, reduced errors, and improved transparency across departments.

While not all features were rolled out immediately, Mitac chose to focus on core processes first. This phased approach gave the team confidence and created early wins.

“Traceability is something we really appreciate now,” says Persson. “We can follow when something was purchased, when it arrived, what it’s used in, and where it is in production.”

According to Ludvig Henningsson, Chief Business Development Officer at Ariser, that’s the right mindset:

“Remember that the processes working well today must also work tomorrow. Avoid getting caught up in minor details or exceptional cases that consume disproportionate time without creating real value,” says Ludvig Henningsson Chief Business Development Officer at Ariser.

The value of a strong implementation partner

For Persson, the strong collaboration with Ariser proved instrumental to the project’s success. From the very beginning, Ariser demonstrated a high level of professionalism, a structured approach to training, and a genuine willingness to support the Mitac team. This created a strong sense of trust and confidence, enabling smoother decision-making and more efficient implementation.

“Having a partner who was always available, who listened, and who guided us through the difficult parts made a big difference,” says Persson. “We never felt like just another customer – they treated our challenges as their own.”

In addition to technical expertise, Ariser brought a proactive mindset to the table. They not only responded to issues but also anticipated potential bottlenecks, offering recommendations before problems arose. This forward-leaning approach helped maintain momentum and reduced unnecessary delays.

Building for the future, together

For both Mitac and Ariser, go-live wasn’t the end of the project, it was the start of a longer journey.

It's just not possible to fully understand everything during the project phase. What truly matters is staying close to the customer and continuously evolving the solution to create real, lasting value,” says Henningsson.

That future-focused mindset is shared by Mitac. As new updates and features become available through RamBase’s cloud platform, the team is committed to staying proactive and looking for smarter ways of working.

“You’re not just choosing a system, you’re choosing a long-term partner,” says Persson.

Mitac’s transformation shows how choosing the right ERP system — and the right partner — can be a catalyst for smarter, faster, and more scalable operations.
