Are you eager to get a solid understanding of general procurement processes in RamBase? Join us for engaging discussions and valuable insights, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. 

 

This course is specifically designed for users with some or limited experience working with RamBase, but more experienced users may also have some aha-moments. We encourage participants to send in questions in advance, enabling us to tailor the course to your specific needs and provide relevant examples.

Upon completing this course, we recommend taking our Advanced Procurement course to gain a comprehensive understanding of the numerous possibilities RamBase offers for customizing the procurement process to your company's needs and preferences.  

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

  • Schedule: 10:00-16:00.
  • Location: RamBase offices in Aksdal.
  • Lunch and light refreshments are included in the course fee of 4900 NOK (excluding VAT). The fee will be invoiced to the company post-course completion; please specify invoicing details upon signing up.
  • Bring your computer for an optimal learning experience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the language of instruction?

English is the main RamBase language, and therefore the default language of instruction for our courses. Course materials and resources will always be delivered in the English language. However, if all participants in a course express a preference for Norwegian, the course will be conducted in Norwegian.
How do I get from Haugesund airport to Aksdal? Our courses start at 10.00 on the first day to accommodate participants who are taking a morning flight from Oslo. As there are no direct bus routes, taxi is your best option. The trip will take approximately 25 minutes. Taxis will normally queue outside of the airport when the morning flights arrive.
How do I to get around in the Haugesund/Aksdal area?

If you arrive at Haugesund airport and are going to Haugesund, you may choose between the airport bus and a taxi. The travel time is approximately 20 minutes.

To get from Haugesund to Aksdal, you may choose between the local bus and a taxi. From Aksdal, you have to take a taxi or walk 1,5 km to our offices. The travel time from Haugesund to Aksdal with bus is approximately 30 minutes and the walk from Aksdal to our offices 20 minutes.
Do you have a recommendation for accommodation? We recommend choosing a hotel in Haugesund, where you will find a wide array of hotel accommodation to choose from.
Do you have available parking? We offer plenty of parking spaces around our building to accommodate visitors. However, in the rare occasion that our parking lot is completely full, just let us know and we will quickly arrange convenient alternative parking nearby.
I will be arriving in my electric vehicle - do you have charging facilities available?

Yes! Please contact a course facilitator upon arrival to activate the charging. 
Can I provide feedback on the courses?

Yes! We value feedback and are always open to suggestions. During the course, you can always grab one of us in one of the breaks to give feedback. After the completion of the course, course participants will be encouraged to evaluate the course through a short online questionnaire.
