5 quick questions with participants at the RamBase Developer Conference

The technology landscape and the requirements of our users are constantly changing. A crucial part of being part of the IT industry is to learn new things, meaning we must keep our competency up to date. What better way to do so than to meet up and learn from each other!

For two days, developers from our teams in Norway, Poland and Sri Lanka came together for our very first RamBase Development Conference in our new office building in Aksdal. It was fantastic to see so many eager people ready to dive into our developer schedule, but most of all, it was great to finally get the time to meet in person and socialise.

Get to know what four developers were excited about for this year's developer conference.

What has been interesting for you during this week of meeting together?

There have been a lot of interesting topics covered in the agenda - a lot of variety, not all related to the other. I like that we get a break.

How will you use the knowledge presented here today in your day-to-day work?

For my everyday work - there is always something to be doing. (laughs)

[Hello, Raashid Ahamed]

Raashid Ahamed

What do you do, Raashid?
I'm a UX designer in the 99x team in Sri Lanka.

How long have you worked with RamBase?
It is nearly seven plus years now working with RamBase.

What topics are you looking forward to?

That would be learning more about the new framework REX 2.0, what other teams are working on and learning the whole business.

What has been interesting for you during this week of meeting together?

It has been a long journey for us to travel here to Haugesund from Sri Lanka. So far, I have enjoyed meeting everyone during the Kick-off event earlier this week and getting a tour of the new building.

How will you use the knowledge presented here today in your day-to-day work?

This will help me to know and understand what every team is working on and in which area they are experts. And we were talking to many people over calls for years, but today being able to meet them in person, we are able to know more about them. This will help us in many ways in the future working remote. Most importantly, building a relationship with the RamBase Development/UX team.

Until the next time!

Thank you to all participants at this year's developer conference. We hope the event was as enjoyable for you as it was for us hosting it. A sincere thank you to all who presented and made the two-day event a learning experience. We can not wait until the next developer gathering!
