From support to success: Pia’s journey at RamBase

Growing within RamBase

Pia Heia began her RamBase journey five years ago in our Support department. Today, she works as a Customer Success Manager, helping customers navigate challenges and reach their goals. But beyond the tasks and titles, Pia values how much she's been able to grow professionally over the years.

"The reason I'm still here is simple: I've been given the opportunity to develop," she says.

 

The transition from Support to Customer Success wasn't just a change in title, it represented a fundamental shift in how Pia engages with customers. While support work focuses on solving immediate technical issues, customer success is about building long-term relationships and ensuring customers achieve their strategic goals with the system.

"In support, you're putting out fires. In customer success, you're building partnerships," Pia explains. "I get to understand our customers' businesses deeply and help them succeed over time."

 

The power of collaboration

For Pia, what truly makes her workday meaningful is the people around her. Her colleagues are more than just coworkers, they're collaborators, mentors, and friends.

"The most important part of my workday is my colleagues," she says. "We help each other, share knowledge, and make space for both the professional and the social side of work, even outside of working hours."

 

This collaborative spirit extends beyond her immediate team. Working closely with consultants, developers, and other departments has given Pia a holistic understanding of how RamBase operates and how different roles contribute to customer success.

The culture of knowledge sharing at RamBase means that no one works in isolation. Whether it's a quick question in a Teams chat or a deeper discussion about a complex customer challenge, there's always someone ready to help.
